Care, mechanically attempted

A machine writes the card. Honestly.

Pick a physically made, slightly garbled design. Tell us who it is for, and the machine writes a short message live. We print the actual card and mail it.

Physical cards only. One regeneration included. No fake sentiment library.

Care Machine hero

What to expect

Three unpolished promises.

01

Your message is written for this order, not pulled from a shelf.

02

Gift packaging shows no price, invoice, or payment details.

03

Every order becomes a printed card with an envelope. No digital substitute.

The procedure

Small input. Real card. Mildly strange result.

The machine aims for sincere, plainspoken, and a little off. It does not write polished card-shop mush.

  1. 01

    Choose the imperfect picture

Browse photographs of lettering made with candles, clouds, sparklers, icing, and other unreliable materials. The garbling is already there.

  2. 02

Give the machine a few facts

Add a name, choose the occasion, and optionally mention one useful detail. Birthday, sympathy, congratulations, apology, or just because all work.

  3. 03

    Read its attempt at care

It writes two or three short sentences plus a machine-aware sign-off. You can regenerate once if the first attempt is wrong in the wrong way.

  4. 04

Send it to you or straight to them

Choose your address or a separate gift address. Add an optional from-name. The recipient gets the card and envelope, not your receipt.

Inside the machine

“heard you finally fixed the kitchen tap. thats genuinely good news. i hope it stays fixed this time.

— the machine”

A sample of the intended voice, not a pre-written message for sale. Each order is generated from the details entered at checkout.

Built-in limits

  • Short enough to belong inside a card.
  • At most one small imperfection.
  • No invented personal details.
  • No greeting-card clichés.

Controlled awkwardness, basically.

Give care a physical form

Pick the card. Feed the machine.

Start with a design, add one true detail, and let the machine do its limited best.
